The failure of the immigration bill today signals a victory for America. We are fortunate indeed that enough senators felt compelled to follow the wishes of the citizens they were elected to represented. To those senators who rejected or ignored the wishes of the people who put them in office; the American people will not forget nor forgive your actions.
Who would have thought Trent Lott would join forces with Kennedy and Fienstien in such an unholy alliance. These people have no regard for the citizens of this country, nor for the country itself. They are total undeserving of having the privilege to serve in the U.S. Senate. I sincerely pray that when election time comes, they will be soundly defeated; that is if they have the backbone to seek re-election.
